...you know i always wondered why my family looked nothing whatsoever like me lol turns out my mother is english and my father from mauritius.

i was adopted by a fabulous family who have loved me my whole life and supported me in tracing my birth mother and her family who i keep in touch with regularly. i have been extremely lucky and no this without any doubt.

-now a 41 (eek) yr old woman still living, working and generally getting on with life in the North of England. i maybe had the chance to find contact with my errant father when visiting Mauritius a couple of years ago. the waiters in the hotel had my heritage sorted with one look at my eyes and features and spent the next two weeks tearing out pages in phonebooks with the name Peerbocus on it. ( sorry if any of you needed the 'p' page!! )

hindsight being the wonderful thing it is i wish more than anything that i had tried to make contact ....but in all honesty i didn't think it fair to kind of turn up on his doorstep as i kind of guessing i'm a bit of a guilty secret!! lol ...you have to have a sense of humor in these things- but seriously i didn;t and don;t want to cause any problems to him or his family - am also assuming that he returned home and married had kids etc but really would wish to see/talk to him if only once in my lifetime.

I believe his name to be Cassan or Cathan Peerbocus - he would be in his late 50' s or earl 60's now.....i have also to face the fact that he may no longer even be with us now and that i have left it too late

crossing fingers to hope that someone may know of him and be able to even give me some details and if you are part of an extended family and didn;t know anything about me i am so very sorry to have sprung into your life in this way but there is now no other way i can think of to trace without havin any more details.
