Work began on developing the site so it catered for an all-in-one slution for friends, for families, for singles, for business opportunities as even those can be matched. For example people in business can match their ideas and possibly work with other Mauritians, utilizing their own Mauritian resources and talents. Friends can match themselves with other Mauritians from not only their own surrounding locations, but also other Mauritians worldwide. Singles can match themselves with other singles and potential partners. Families can match themselves with relations that are abroad and able to communicate without incurring expenses, altogether Mauritians matching Mauritians.

We see an online community that will truly enable Mauritians to easily meet and greet with all walks of Mauritian life. A place where the community of members between themselves can interact, get to know one another and help each other by providing solutions to shared problems via the features and services within. About The Founder

The founder of MauritianMatch.com, Vijay Beeharry, was born in Port Louis, Mauritius in 1970. As a young boy and together with his parents, he spent his initial years living in various locations in Mauritius. The family lived in Morecellement, then Port Louis and finally in Riviere Des Anguilles. Nearing his 7th birthday, his family relocated to the United Kingdom, where he spent his remaining years, but always coming back and forth to Mauritius to pay visits to friends and families. In 2008, he decided to develope his vision for a complete online community dedicated to all Mauritians worldwide.
